Hackney's may well be a tradition in the north suburbs. It's always packed, but they are so good at logistics that it's never too long of a wait. Excellent brewery right next door called "Macushla Brewing Co." Which Hackneys will deliver their food to at no extra cost!
Food was pretty good, sort of expensive but that wasnt my issue.When I was in I overheard someone who I believe is possibly the owner or manager talking to a server in such an demeaning way. Thats not the way to treat your employees and I felt embarrassed hearing it.
Always up to standards of excellence. Onion rings and Patty melt a great choice every time. Wait staff helpful and efficient.
Best to go for the Christmas cheer. I wish they'd up their game with fresher, healthier options. Great fried onion loaf and peppermint ice cream pie dessert. Nice people and service.
