I had a great experience with Dr Shepstone! He and staff are very polite and very caring. He asks about how patient feels during the process and if you feel uncomfortable he stops right away and gives you time. I was always afraid of dentists, but he did a very good job and it wasn't painful. I didn't have such a nice and professional dentist before. would recommend to everyone, thank you.
He deeply cares about all individuals and their teeth. He makes sure I understand all procedures prior to starting. I have never had problems with the work performed on my teeth afterwards. If your looking for great dental experience, Dr. Shepstone is the man!
I have been going to Dr. Shepstone for 7 years. Dr. Shepstone is a great dentist for those who are sheepish about going to the dentist. Patient comfort is #1 and he will do anything he can to make sure you're not experiencing any pain. He explains any problems thoroughly, gives you options, and helps you weigh all the pros and cons.
Came to Dr. Shepstone with broken tooth about 2011? Did full X-rays, cleaned up, did root canal, rebuilt tooth and prep for crown, made/mounted temp crown. Replaced with permanent and showed me X-Rays indicating I had at least 3 other molars that were fractured and would need to be dealt with over time. Most recent visit more of the same. After these several years now having had my teeth re-habilitated; I had teeth cleaned only to find another molar with an old filling had cracked. So, Dr. "Painless" RALPH, set upon removing major Silver filling, and cleaning/inspecting the tooth, building it up, took impression for permanent crown and apply the temp. A LOT of work, but clean, efficient, needed a touch extra Novocain, no worries, done deal. Dr. Shepstone regularly asks patient status, if need rinse, break, Novocain, etc. His Dental Hygienists are equally kindly and sensitive to the patient's comfort and are very informative. For those who are into being distracted or otherwise entertained during long procedures. Dr. Shepstone has full run movies/videos. Quite a far cry from the sterile cold treatment I grew up with many decades ago. DR. Shepstone rules the TOP of my recommendations. If you are in need of an excellent Dentist look no further that n this kindly and highly competent man.
Dr Shepstone and his staff deserve way more than 5 stars! I've been going there for over 11 years. In addition to technical expertise, they take the time to explain procedures, problems, even why things are not major concerns. They get to know you as a person, without being invasive. They share their human side, while remaining professional. I'm always satisfied that I have received the best possible dental care, which is the most important thing to me.
