Wonderful company to work with! I had a very complicated restore/refinish job for a handmade cherry wood refrigerator, which is irreplaceable.They took the extra time with me to talk about the process they would use, and what my expectations were. The price was reasonable to have the job done properly. Would definitely recommend!
I had an old antique desk restored that had layers and layers of I'm not sure what on it. They worked very hard stripping and fixing the wood and bringing back the brass hardware to life. They also worked hard to find the right stain for the piece and to make me happy. They are very hard working and proud of their craftsmanship. Your pieces are in good hands.
Was referred to Marshall by a friend who had work done to a desk. I am so happy with the work that was done. I had someone else reupholster the chairs, but the caning, gluing, and touch up to stain was done by Marshall Koral. We received the chairs back just a couple of weeks ago, and i think my chairs look great. Thus far the workmanship is holding up fine. Thank you for restoring my chairs!
Marshall Koral Furniture did a great job fixing all of the nicks on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets that occurred over the years from ordinary wear and tear. Some of the nicks were real eye sores and now unless you look for the fix, you hardly notice it. The cabinets look so much better! The guys are also super nice, punctual and reliable.
Wow, I wish I could give zero stars. Having owned a service business this is not fun to write a negative review (my first one every) but people have to be warned about Marshall Koral. He is a crook. My wife and I just had our home remodeled and she wanted to have one piece of furniture refinished and one repaired. The first person we contacted (who is not in the business anymore) referred us to Marshall (they had never met but had heard of him) and OUCH was that a mistake. Marshall came out and quoted a number higher than my wife wanted to pay. I let Marshall know and he agreed to take $100 off of the price. We paid 50% down and Marshall began to work on the secretary (took it to his shop) and began repairing the other piece. I travel a lot for work and was out of town when the secretary was finished. My wife was home although she was packing to meet me for Christmas and I told Marshall he could drop off the item with my wife and she would pay him. They dropped off the item and said they had upgraded the handle and that would be an extra $25 without asking us first. That is not a big deal but my wife doesn't like confrontation and felt that she was bullied. Moreover, she was very unhappy with the 'repaired' item. She voiced this concern to Marshall and then later to me. I called Marshall to discuss last week and he said he would call me this week. Well today is Friday and I just called Marshall. He said he felt they did enough work and hung up on me. I called him back and he answered the phone and hung it up. I called his 'office' number and he did the same thing. He's a crook and employs awful customer service. I will take photos and upload photos of this 'repaired' piece of furniture when I get home this evening. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and do not work with Marshall. He is dishonest. He is a crook.
