Three weeks ago, on December 4th 2017, our family lost my father. Needless to say, to everyone who experiences death in the family, such events have a devastating impact both emotionally and psychologically. Our family wasn't an exception. No matter how "prepared " you are, or how "expected" the outcome is, it hits you like a hurricane. Another thing you would never expect to happen that also throws you for a loop: your insurance company not paying out the final expense cost you had been paying premiums on due to a mistake was made due to human error, communication mishap, messages crossed, emails were misplaced, whatever you want to call it - the result was catastrophic. Our family wouldn't be able to get the needed coverage, not even a fraction of the cost of what was supposed to be a huge support at end of life.And so my family and I would like very much to thank Eric Esch, a Glenview State Farm agent who went out of his way, above and beyond what's expected in his role, to fix the problem and get our family the help that lots of other companies will drum up but Eric and his team at State Farm actually delivered. We are very grateful to Eric for helping us and for being kind, compassionate, and professional in our time of need. I'm also extremely grateful to the State Farm company for showing it's best side during a difficult situation. We have been with State Farm for over 25 years and have always trusted and highly valued our relationship with them. Eric and his staff are great. I woke up one morning to find someone had thrown a rock through the front window of my car.
