I had a very pleasant experience at this repair shop. I called for an estimate to have my CV joint boots replaced as was recommended by my Acura dealer. Dan's quote was significantly lower than the dealer so I took my car to him. He called me a few hours later to tell me the CV joint boots were fine and didn't need replacing. When I went to pick up to the car, he declined any kind of payment for his time. I would highly recommend this shop and plan to bring all my car needs here.
My car battery died Friday morning and I had been having a host of other issues like the transmission randomly going into "safe" mode and DSC turning off. Replaced the battery (was 6 yrs old) to rule that out first, but still had the red battery light illuminating on the dash, so knew it wasn't being charged and probably the alternator went out. Import Service Center was the only Euro shop able to fit me in Friday afternoon. All of the stealerships couldn't schedule me until the following Wednesday. Dan was able to source the part and install it within three hours. Very thankful I found this place. Good price and great service. Thank you, Dan and Trevor!
Dan is the only auto repair guy I'll ever see
Excellent service, all work done promptly as quoted. Convenient 20 minute walk to train station for easy drop off and pick up.
I took my dads car in to be serviced right after he passed away. There was an issue with the locks and the check engine light was constantly on. Dan, the owner, had it taken care of in a day. I was really pleased with the speed of service. However, I realized on my way home that the locks were still not fixed and then the check engine light came back on. To replace 2 spark plugs, change the oil, and replace the front and rear locks, the bill was a bit over $1300. I called and spoke with Dan and got the car back in the following week. He called me the next day to try to gather more information on what the issue might be, calling me later that evening to let me know there appeared to be a leak in the gas valve. He told me it would take about 3 hours of labor to get to the spot and that with everything it would cost about $300-$350 and be ready the next day.I didnt receive a call the next day and I didnt want to bother them because I know shops are busy so I waited. I called on Friday afternoon (yesterday) and got no response or call back. It wasnt that big of a deal as Ive been busy with other more pressing issues after the death of my father. I called today, Saturday, only to find out that the shop is closed all weekend. It would have been really nice for Dan to mention that. I like Dan, hes a nice guy, but my experience with this shop has been very clich Woman goes to the mechanic and gets taken advantage of because shes not knowledgeable about cars.
